On Friday, July 26th the Grand Opening Celebration for Oak Park Phase 3 took place at their brand new Community Building.
The project is a brand new affordable housing community that offers 76 one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments and community building. This is the third of four phases of the total project. The families have been upgraded from barracks style houses that were originally built in 1941 for military housing. There were originally 148 units available. Once the fourth phase is completed, there will be 301 housing units within the same footprint.
The project required a large team to bring it all together and Paso Robles Housing Authority brought North Coast Engineering to the team for Civil Engineering and Construction Management back in 2009 to begin on Phase 1.
