Twin Creeks is a mixed-use development project located in San Luis Obispo. It includes 94 residential units, 2460 square feet of indoor residential amenity space, outdoor residential amenity space, and 3,490 square feet of commercial space. The new apartments will grant you premium access to the very best San Luis Obispo and Central Coast lifestyle.
The largest portion of the project’s site is located between Sydney and Acacia Creeks near Broad Street and Orcutt Road. Prefabricated pedestrian bridges were installed over Sydney Creek with a 53 foot span and Acacia Creek with a 45 foot span to allow ease of access to and from local businesses in the surrounding areas.
NCE was awarded civil design, construction design, and construction staking and has been working with Robbins|Reed to develop these top-quality apartments and commercial space.
Our survey department conducted the bridge staking for this project which is always a complicated task. Coordinating with Robbins|Reed, our surveyor staked the extents of the bridge abutments, then checked the location of the anchor bolts to ensure the correct placement before the concrete was poured. We asked survey about their experience in the field. “When surveying, you are comparing the Civil plans, Structural plans, and Bride plans in order to stake everything correctly in the field. It is always tense watching a bridge being lowered into place, but both lined up perfectly with the abutments/ anchor bolts and dropped into place without a hitch.” -Tucker Sanders, V.P., and Surveying Manager

Once developed, residents will get to enjoy convenient access to downtown shopping, dining opportunities, and hiking and biking trails. This project will be completed in 2021.
