The 2020 Measure K-14 Repair and Rehabilitation project kicked off in Grover Beach. North Coast Engineering completed the design and is providing post-design and post-construction services for the rehabilitation of several sections of streets as a part of the 2020 Measure K-14 repair and rehabilitation project, approximately 2.5 miles. The project includes:
- Removal and replacement of existing roadway
- Road profile design for improved drainage
- Restriping and traffic control plans
- Sidewalk infill
- Upgrading ADA ramps
- Bid Assistance
- Construction Engineering
- Boundary Survey
- Topographic Mapping
- Pre and post-construction Record of Survey
Beginning in 2014, voters approved Measure K-14, the Grover Beach Street Rehabilitation; Safety Improvement Bond Measure. The multi-year program issued up to $48 million in bonds to fund street repair and rehabilitation work (including ADA-compliant curb ramp improvements) throughout Grover Beach. City Council held public meetings and issued a citizen survey to gather input from the public on preferred street repair priorities.
The project is scheduled to be completed later this year.
