People’s Self-Help Housing (PSHH) is the longest-serving nonprofit affordable housing developer on the Central Coast. PSHH serves low-income working families, farmworkers, seniors, and veterans to provide welcoming environments for those living with disabilities and realizing a lack of affordable housing. PSHH manages over 2,000 rental units and employs over 200 staff members.

In 2019, PSHH broke ground on a new corporate office located in San Luis Obispo. Located on Kendall Way, adjacent to the San Luis Obispo Airport, the construction of the new 23,000 square foot building will provide more space for their 200 plus employees.

North Coast Engineering provided Civil Engineering and Land Surveying services for the new office. The project consisted of removal and repair of existing driveways, grading and drainage, and a stormwater pollution prevention plan. NCE has worked a lot in the past with PSHH and was proud to have been able to assist in a project that allows a  better workspace and environment for their staff.
