About this Project
North Coast Engineering completed the flood study for to determine the 50 and 100-year peak flows and flood limits along a portion of the HuerHuero Creek. The purpose of this study is to determine the 50 and 100-year peak flows and flood limits along a portion of the Huerhuero Creek for a proposed project consisting of a bridge crossing the Huerhuero and path along the creek. Peak Flow was estimated using the Hydrologic Engineering Center Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC-HMS) computer program developed by the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE). The results of this study will be used to analyze scour for the proposed bridge and for improvements at the existing Highway 46 Bridge.
